Xiaomi’s selfie centric smartphone Redmi Y3 launched in India along with Redmi 7. The Redmi Y series mobile phones focus on youth. Redmi Y3 is a successor of Redmi Y2 and its comes under mid range category. Its main highlights is its 32 megapixel selfie shooter which comes with EIS support. Redmi Y3 comes with Aura Prism Design which we have seen on Redmi Note 7 series smartphone.
Redmi Y3 specifications
The dual sim Redmi Y3 is powered by 14nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU. It has a 6.26-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D glass, and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Phone will be available in 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB storages variants which is expandable via microSD card.
Now comes to camera department, the device had a dual rear camera setup with a primary 12 megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and 1.25-micron pixel size, and secondary 2 megapixel depth sensor. For selfie it has 32 megapixel selfie shooter features with AI portrait, Auto HDR mode, Palm Shutter and EIS. The rear camera also features with AI portrait, autofocus, phase detection and EIS.
Redmi Y3 packed with 4,000mAh battery. It has a fingerprint reader at back pannel. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2 and 3.5mm headphones.

The base variant of Redmi Y3 (3GB/32GB) price set at Rs 9,999 and 4GB/64GB variant available at 11,999. Mobile phone will be available via Amazon India and mi.com from 30th April in Bold Red, Elegant Blue, and Prime Black colour.
