Another budget smartphone by Xiaomi launched in China with dual camera setup with AI features, same Snapdragon 625 processor. Redmi 6 Pro comes with iPhone X like notch display. The device is almost identical to Redmi Note 5 Pro except display design and processor. The smartphone will be available starting from June 26 in China. The device is expected to be launched in India soon.
The Redmi 6 Pro comes with 5.84-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280) 19:9 display and packed with 4000 mAh battery. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and runs on MIUI 9.5 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and available in 3GB/32GB, 4GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB variants (expand upto 256 GB via SD card with dedicated slot).
Now comes to camera department, the Redmi 6 Pro has a dual rear camera setup with a primary lens 12-megapixel with an f/2.2 aperture and secondary lens 5 megapixel. For selfie it has 5 megapixel selfie camera. The Redmi 6 Pro features an AI Portrait mode for both the rear and front camera.
Sensor and connectivity include Micro-USB, a 3.5mm headphone jack, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, infrared, and a proximity sensor.
Pricing and availability
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro price starts at CNY 999 (approx ₹10,400) for the 3GB/32GB storage variant and goes upto CNY 1,299 (approx ₹13,600) for the 4GB/64GB variant. It will be available in Black, Blue, Gold, Pink, and Red colour.
