Xiaomi’s next generation Android One smartphone Mi A2 launched in India. This is the successor of Mi A1 which was launched in 2017. The A series smartphone is part of Google Android one program which means its runs on stock Android. The phone already reveled last month in Spain along with Mi A2 lite.
Mi A2 Specification
The dual sim Mi A2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with Adreno 512 GPU and runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo. It has a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio which is protected by 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5. The device is packed with 3,010mAh battery which supports Quick charging 4.0
The Mi A2 comes with dual rear camera setup with a primary lens 12 megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor with an aperture f/1.75, and a 20 megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor with the same f/1.75 aperture, and 2 micron pixel. For selfie Mi A2 has a 20 megapixel selfie shooter. Both the camera comes with AI features, like portrait mode, beauty 4.0, and face recognition.
Pricing and availability
The Mi A2 4GB/64GB variant available at Rs. 16,999 and it will be available in Gold, Lake Blue, Rose Gold and Black colour. the phone does not have a microSD card slot. Company also say the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option will come later. Mi A2 will be open for pre-order from 9th August, 12pm on Amazon India and mi.com
connectivity options including GPS, USB Type C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, there is 3.5mm headphones jack. The smartphone has a fingerprint reader at back pannel, other sensors including accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and digital compass.
