Xiaomi’s next Android One smartphone Mi A2 could launch on 8 August. Mi A2 is a successor of Mi A1 which comes under Android One Program. Mi A2 is almost equal to Mi 6X (except software) which was launched in China earlier. The Mi 6X runs on MIUI 10 while Mi A2 runs on stock Android.

According to Digitech, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and runs on stock Android. The smartphone will feature a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display. Mi A2 will comes with 4GB of RAM and it has three internal storage options – 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The smartphone will have a 3,010mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Connectivity options on the listing include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C.
Now comes to camera department, the smartphone will sport a dual vertical rear camera setup with a primary 12 megapixel and secondary 20 megapixel and for selfie 20 megapixel sensor.
The website lists the Xiaomi Mi A2 in Black, Blue, and Gold colour variants. According to website, the base variant start at CHF 289 (approx Rs. 19,800) and goes upto CHF 369 (approx Rs. 25,200) for 128GB storage variant.
