Samsung Galaxy A80 launched with rotating camera and SD 730G | Specification and availability

The all new Samsung Galaxy A80 enter the A-series line up. The new Galaxy A80 has a rotating camera mechanism another highlight is its 48 megapixel primary sensor, In-display fingerprint and bezel less super AMOLED display. The Galaxy A80 revealed at a event in Thailand. The device comes with Dolby Atmos sound tech and 25W Super-Fast Charging technology.

The dual sim Galaxy A80 is powered by newly launched octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC (2x cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6x cores clocked at 1.7GHz) and the phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie based OneUI. The device comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Super AMOLED ‘New Infinity Display’ with a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Now comes to camera department, the mobile phone has a rotating camera mechanism with triple camera setup, the primary sensor is a 48 megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, secondary 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 3D depth camera sensor. When you go for selfie all three cameras automatically pop-up and rotate to the front to take selfie. 

The phone comes in 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option. The phone didn’t have microSD card expansion. The Galaxy A80 packed with a 3700mAh battery with 25W fast charging technology.

Samsung Galaxy A80 available at EUR 649 (approx Rs 50,500) in Angel Gold, Ghost White, and Phantom Black colour variants. The phone will go on sale globally (Asia, Australia, China, Europe, Hong Kong, Middle East, New Zealand, and Russia) from 29th May
