At Realme 2 Pro launch event, company also launched new low budget smartphone Realme C1 with Snapdragon 450 SoC, huge battery, dual rear camera and notch display at Rs 6999. This is the first smartphone in this price segment with Notch display dual rear camera and fiberglass body. The Realme C1 will compete with Xiaomi Redmi 6A.
Realme C1 specifications
The Realme C1 is a entry level smartphone and powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on ColorOS 5.1 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone has a 6.2-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) IPS notch display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which is interesting in this price segment. The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expand via dedicated microSD card slot. The device has huge 4,230mAh battery capacity.
Now if we talk about camera, the Realme C1 has a dual rear camera setup with a primary lens 13 megapixel (f/2.2 aperture) and secondary lens is 2 megapixel (f/2.4 aperture). For selfie, it has 5 megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. Both the camera features with AI Beauty, portrait mode and AR stickers.
There is no fingerprint reader. However, the company is offering face unlock feature. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, a MicroUSB 2.0 port and 3.5mm headphones jack.
Pricing and availability
The Realme C1 priced at Rs 6,999 and comes in Deep Black and Ocean Blue color options. The smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart on October 11.
