Chinese tech giant OnePlus launched its next flagship device in the Indian market. The latest OnePlus 7 is a successor of OnePlus 6T, company also launched the Pro model of OnePlus 7 that is called OnePlus 7 Pro. The OnePlus 7 also comes with latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, 48MP camera setup, UFS 3.0.
OnePlus 7 specifications
The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset paired Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie based OxygenOS. The device has a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio qnd protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
Now comes to optics, the mobile phone comes with dual rear camera setup with a primary 48 megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 1.6-micron pixels, secondary 5 megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera is features with EIS+OIS, PDAF, 4K recording at 60fps, Slow-mo video recording up to 480 fps, Portrait, UltraShot, Nightscape, Pro Mode, AI Scene Detection, Panorama, HDR, Studio Lighting and more.
For selfie it has same 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor as the OnePlus 7 Pro with f/2.0 aperture, and EIS support.
The device comes with 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 flash storage. there is no storage expansion via microSD card. Mobile phone packed with 3,700mAh battery with 20W fast charging.
It has a faster In-display fingerprint sensor other sensor include accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, magnetometer. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, NFC.
Pricing and availability
The 6GB/128GB storage variant starts at Rs 32,999 in Mirror Grey colour only, the 8GB/256GB variant priced at Rs 37,999 and available in Mirror Grey and Red colours options. The smartphone will go on sale from next month. Stay tuned for exact dates.
