Xiaomi’s latest upcoming smartphone Mi 6X has been officially launched in China today. Mi 6X is the successor of the Mi 5X, which was launched as Mi A1 in India at Rs 14,999 and while the phone is out of stock in India. Mi 6X is already being referred to as Mi A2 in India. The smartphone comes in five colour options- Red, Gold, Rose Gold, Blue, and Black.
Mi 6X Specifications-
Mi 6X is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and runs MIUI 9.5 out of the box which is based on Android Oreo 8.1. The smartphone comes with 5.99 inches (2160 x 1080) LCD display with 18:9 aspects ratio. The smartphone comes with three RAM variants, 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB.
The smartphone has dual camera set-up at back with 12-megapixel primary Sony IMX486 sensor with f/1.75 aperture and 1.25-micron pixels, and a 20-megapixel secondary Sony IMX376 sensor with f/1.75 aperture and 1 micron pixel.
For selfie lover Mi 6X selfie camera has a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor with f/1.75 aperture with AI features. The smartphone has 3010mAh battery capacity with support for QuickCharge 3.
Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor. It has an all-metal body design and dual speakers on the bottom, USB Type-C port but no 3.5mm earphone jack.
Xiaomi Mi 6X: Prices-
The base variant will be 4GB RAM and 64GB storage at Yuan 1599, which is nearly Rs 16,000 plus. The Mi 6X with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage will cost Yuan 1799 which is Rs 18,999. The most expensive variant is the 6GB RAM and 128GB version option which will cost Yuan 1999, which comes to Rs 21,100 plus. It will go on sale in China starting 10am local time on Friday, April 27.
