After several leek images Huawei finally launched the Huawei Mate 20 series smartphone in the international markets. These Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 X is company flagship smartphone. Company introduced many new cool features in the smartphone like fast In-display fingerprint, wireless reverse charging and Nano Memory card which company claim 45% smaller than a microSD card. Another highlight is 40 megapixel triple camera setup and 40W Huawei SuperCharge technology.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 Mate 20 X specifications
All three smartphones is powered by company 7nm octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.6GHz, two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 1.92GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The smartphone runs on EMUI 9.0 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. The Huawei Mate 20 has an 6.53-inch full-HD+ IPS display while other two have OLED pannel. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a 6.39-inch 2K+ display, and the Mate 20 X has a 7.2-inch full-HD+ display.
The camera lens alignment are different, all three have Leica branding triple camera setup. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 X has a 40 megapixel primary wide-angle lens, secondary lens is 20 megapixel ultra – wide sensor and the third one is 8-megapixel tele-photo lens. While the Mate 20 has 12 megapixel primary sensor, 16 megapixel secondary sensor and the last lens is 8 megapixel.
For selfie All three smartphones have a 24-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. The Mate 20 Pro also has 3D sensing capability.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage option, Mate 20 comes in 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB options and Mate 20 X comes in 6GB/128GB storage option.
The Mate 20 packed with 4000mAh battery, the Mate 20 Pro packed with 4200mAh battery and the Mate 20 X packed with huge 5000mAh battery.
All three smartphones bundle with 40W SuperCharge adapter which company claim 25 percent charge in just 10 minutes, and 80 percent in 30 minutes. Company also introduced Wireless Reverse Charging which allow user to charge other smartphone through Mate 20 Pro, simply put on the back.
Pricing and availability
The Mate 20 starts at EUR 799 (Rs 68,000 approx) for the 4GB RAM/ 128GB and EUR 849 (Rs 72,000 approx) for the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage option.
The Mate 20 Pro available at EUR 1,049 (Rs 89,000 approx) for the 6GB/ 128GB variant, The Huawei Mate 20 X is priced at EUR 899 (Rs 76,500 approx) for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage option. All smartphone will go on sale from 26th October. The Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 available in Black, Emerald Green, Midnight Blue, the gradient finish Pink Gold, and Twilight colours options. The Mate 20 X comes in Midnight Blue and Phantom Silver colour options.
The Mate 20 Pro does not have 3.5mm headphones jack while othe two have it. The Mate 20 Pro has a In-display fingerprint while the Mate 20 and Mate 20 X has a physical fingerprint sensor at back pannel.
