Gaming smartphone Black Shark 2 now in India | For PUBG lover


Xiaomi branded gaming smartphone Black Shark 2 launched in Indian markets which will be competing with upcoming gaming smartphone Nubia Red Magic 3. Nubia Red Magic 3 launching in India in Mid June. Back to Xiaomi’s gaming smartphone, the Black Shark 2 was already launched in China earlier this year. 

Talking about design, the device comes with glass and metal body design which also has a RGB backlit LED logo on the rear and dual RGB strips on the side edges. The device also has liquid cooling 3.0 technology which helps heat dispersion and avoid thermal throttling. It has also front-firing stereo speaker and pressure-sensing Magic Press technology.

Black Shark 2 specs

The dual sim gaming smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU which runs on Android 9.0 Pie based Black Shark OS. It has a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED display along with TrueView Display support, 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Coming to camera department, the gaming smartphone packed with dual rear camera with a primary 48 megapixel sensor with f/1.75 aperture and 12 megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture Which comes with 2x optical zoom. For selfie it 20 megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The device is packed with 4,000mAh battery which support 27W fast charging. It has a In-display fingerprint sensor other sensor include accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, digital compass. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C ports.

Pricing and availability

The base variant of Xiaomi Black Shark 2 i.e 6GB/128GB priced at Rs 39,999 in India, the 12GB/256GB storage variant available at Rs 49,999 and comes in Shadow Black and Frozen Silver colour options. The smartphone go on sale via Flipkart from 4th June.
