Apple New iPod touch launched with Apple A10 fusion chipset

On Tuesday, Apple launched new iPod line up with Apple A10 fusion chipset which was used in iPhone 7 lineup earlier. The new iPod touch is the successor of 6th generation iPod touch which was launched in July 2015. The new device comea with Space Gray, Gold, Silver, Pink, Blue, and Product RED.

New iPod touch 2019 specs

New iPod is powered by Apple A10 fusion chipset. The new iPod is 2x faster then previous one. It is also supports group face time and ARkits. The device has a 4 inch (1136×640) retina display. 

In terms of optics it has 8 megapixel rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and 1.2 megapixel FaceTime HD camera with f/2.2 aperture. The new device also has a 3.5mm headphone jack

Pricing and availability

The new iPod touch with 32GB storage variant priced at Rs 18,990 in India. 128GB storage variant available at Rs 28,900 and higher 256GB variant priced at Rs 38,900.

It is currently available via and Apple Store app in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, UK and US.
